The bearing in the clutch on my AC comp went out so I swapped it with a good one off a gas engine (460) and found out that the pulley on the gasser is larger and now the belt dont fit. So I spent the day going to every part store in the area looking for a belt longer than 112", finally found one that was 114.5" only to find out it was too long. I ended up making it work by putting 4 nuts as spacers under the AC compressor, this should work for now.
I will be looking for at least a DIESEL AC clutch for a serpentine belt, if anyone has on let me know. I found some reman compressors on Ebay for $50ish, new ones at the parts store are $170 and just a clutch is $140.
Im in no hurry but if no one has one they're willing to part with I'll just get the one from Ebay.
