I have marked in green the stuff I would like to remove and believe is a/c components, freeing up engine space and allowing me to get to my valve covers easier. Any one know about removing this and are what this stuff is, what I can cant do.

You can't remove that large housing sticking out, unless you go to the junkyard and get the housing off a 87-up non-A/C truck. If you do that, then you can remove all that junk sticking out and have more room.

The black cylinder is going to be full of refrigerant oil and under pressure, second x contains the expansion coil also under pressure. If you do remove these items it is a must you drain the system of refrigerant pressure as releasing it buy simply cutting into it can cause severe freeze burns! If you remove the area with coil you will need to replace with a non ac trucks parts there as stated above to retain function ability of heater and vent system after.

So I can remove the cylinder and lines running out of it looks like they run into both sides of the radiator. Maybe cap radiator were the lines tied in?. If I can get the cylinder and lines out I would be happy and if the box just takes a couple bolts to remove so I can get to the valve cover I'm fine with that.

The lines running from the canister can be plugged at the radiator?. Maybe ill leave the box and finagle those bolts off the valve covers.

That box is not held in by much but it is not coming out easily. I just did my valve covers when I installed new push rods.
I do not have a turbo or serpentine belt system tho. The filter tower may have to be loosened. I had to take mine off & everything attached to it. Air leaks of course afterwards

I did valve covers with all the AC stuff on, but i had a factory turbo system. Looks like you have somethin else.
When you put valve covers back on might wanna look up torque specs. I think its like 7ft lbs. you can easily over tighten and pinch your new gasket

That is an ats turbo aint it.
I pulled fuel filter off, and the mounting bolts that hold the fuel filter bracket to give it a little wiggle room.
The cover does fit between the hvac and the lifters. It takes some wigglating and them back bolts are super fun to get to. But it can be done.
Looks like your glow plug controller is sitting on your valve cover too. Mine is on the valley pan in the back- i didnt have to mess with it

It a Garrett turbo factory from what I can tell. Just want to know if I can pull the canister and lines going to the condenser with no issue, haven't messed with much a/c.
