are these the same concept as the f superduty ZF5?

found an auto tranny with the e-brake on the tail shaft.

can this be removed and a transfercase put in its place?

looking for a transmission for my E350

essentially it is a 4wd E4DOA.
BUT it is rumoured to have electrical set up differently so it is not a drop-in via the electronics.

Yank off the brake and bolt on your transfer case.

All E4OD trannys are the same electronically. So bolt it up and plug it in.

what he said, on the 450s the speedo is I the brake housing> 4x4 is in the Tcase> 2wd 250s and 350s are in the extension housing and output shaft is loooonnngg:D
