Hey guys, usually troll the forums to get the info I need. This one has me stumped. Couple weeks ago while making a trip to Austin fuel filter light came on and she acted like she ran out. Lost power, shuddered, then died. Hard restart with white smoke. Limped back home and as long as I kept her under 60 mph she did fine. At high throttle she'd die. Replaced filter and checked oil. Fuel in the oil. Replaced lift pump. No start. No smoke. No fuel getting to bowl and when i plumb straight from lift pump to a can of fuel still nothing. Not an OEM lift pump. Got it at oreillys. What are the odds I got a bad pump? Or is there another issue I'm missing? 1994 f250 252k. No mods, no chips.
