finding the source of the problem is the priority.tbirdfiend281 said:well if its causing you problems and its expensive, you know...you do have gears, sure it limits you slightly with the truck but its probably managble, but it is your truck

leaving the truck in gear to keep it from moving is not a option. the motor needs to be running so the PTO and hydraulics can be working. I have a ZF5, he has a E4DOA. There is no "park pawl only" option for him when loaded at 15k . Priority is to find the problem and fix it.
here's the OT part. I understand you are a 19 yr old apprentice diesel tech. Here's a suggestion. Watch the senior guys carefully. The good ones have managed to not only get the job out the door without loosing fingers and toes, but also keep from getting fired due to getting hanged by DOT for bad work or worse yet, their work was the cause of a multimillion dollar lawsuit on the company due to findings of bad work. You are entering the realm of commercial vehicles, the pay is better and so are the penalties if you do shoddy work. Think about it.

ive also had the back of the truck off the ground and put in drive, brought it up to 65MPH and there is no vibration.ive run it up to 90mph without a vibration.
