I feel you have a good handle on changing the pump. Best I can add is the three nuts that hold the pump to the gear housing are 9/16 and the lower ones are ruff to reach but still doable. Now the three bolts under the lemon shaped cover on the front of the gear housing are a 5/16 hex 12 point sockets work well here too. The torque on those small bolts are 25 ft lbs. they are small but very strong. BTW they are the same bolt as found in the rear universal point and Napa sells them in a universal repair kit. Watch where the throttle return spring sets in the fast idle solenoid bracket. It fits in the notch at the lower end. The tps switch on the drivers side of the throttle shaft has 2 allen screws in it and MUST be installed on the new pump correctly. If you mess up the tps will break. So please take pics on how that shaft drive tab is connected to the throttle shaft. Sorry I do not recall the allen wrench size. It is small.. When installing the tps you will need to adjust the idle setting voltage to .96 to 1.2 volts at idle engine off but key on. A digital voltometer is required for this. It you have a manual trans disreguard all the tps info.. The pump can only engage the gear one way and the gear can't jump a tooth when the pump is removed. Just don't crank the engine with the pump removed. It does not matter where the pin is located either. You do not need to make the engine at tdc number one cylinder either. The pump can have all the hard lines on the back of it but the fuel feed line must be removed to lift out the pump. That throttle cable bracket must be removed for easy pump removal too. Once the pump is free move it back towards the intake manifold. Then shift it to the drivers side and lift it up out between the passenger side mounting stud and the top mounting stud. Same for install with all the hard lines attached.
