oh yeah mine blew apart on chip truck so i had to borrow the one on log truck.log truck's had those shields.the problem is iv got electric fans on chip truck and the motor is so close the outer shield rubbed on the electric motor lol.after i bought a replacement i put the shielded one back on log truck.........not that this useless story will probably help anyone anyway lol.

^lol, i also ordered one from a 460 truck, with ribs on either end of the pulley.
perhaps it will do away from the guards.
