Just replaced the fuel injector pump. Now the line from the fuel/water filter to the injetor pump is leaking. I can see with a mirror it's leaking from the fitting at the pump. When I changed the injector pump, I noticed black plastic type material falling out of the compression fitting. Any ideas on how to get it to stop leaking or where to get a new line? I've found the lines from the pump to each injector on-line but not the line from the filter to the pump. Thanks

They are called fuel olives and you can purchase a kit from Autozone that has them. Carodone 2k-203. Or you can find them individually somewhere but I forget the size.

The filter to IP is 5/16" ID, LP to Filter is 3/8". You can use a couple of o'rings in place of the fuel sleeves as they are called. Just clean out the rotted sleeves and use two at top and two at bottom. o'rings 5/16" ID X 9/16" OD. You can get a whole box of different sizes Viton at Harbor Freight.

Just don't tighten too tight, just enough so it don't leak.

Welcome to the forum. Any good injection pump repair shop has these seals called olives. As already posted the line from the pump is 5/16 and the lift pump line ONLY at the filter head has a 3/8 olive seal.
Getting these old hardened seals out and be difficult. Some soap the ends in brake fluid and then use a dental pic to remove them. Some burn them out and some just pick them out. Also as already posted you do not need to tighten the brass fittings all the way tight like any other fitting.

UPDATE: u guys are the BEST. O rings fixed the leak! Bleed the lines, got her running.... well for about 2 minutes and then she died. Hoping it's just air still in the lines, charging batteries while I'm at work. Odd it will start up and run for 30 sec. then just die, doesn't run rough, just dies. Any thoughts besides MAYBE HOPEFULLY air still in the lines?

It sure could be air still in the lines. In fact, there could still be some air in the injector pump too. Keep going. I'm sure you'll get it running again.
