not a bad find if i do say so myself...

u got me thinking...next trip i take to the pick n pull ima see if that IDI is still there and nab me an oil cooler.

Might be tough getting one off in the yard. You have to lift the engine a couple inches to get them out. Probably the hardest part of the whole deal.

oil cooler

Well I finally got the truck towed to my little shop it barely fits in. I thought i was gonna have to unbolt the push bar, well anyways I Got the oil cooler off And it appears to be a newer one it only has 2 o rings per end , I understand the older ones had 3 per end ?? Is that correct??

Well it wasnt too hard to get off but getting back on looks like real fun!!!

I unbolted it and pulled the front header off and pulled it backwards up over that crossmember.
Lots Of Sludge !!! YUCKKOOOSSSS!!!!
I will be wiping oil up for years LOL!!!
