7.3 idi w/turbo diesel detonation

I recently found a crack in my no.2 cylinder fuel injection line. So i pulled it out and tried using a rubbed gasket to fix it. It did not work of course. But it slowed the the leak to a drip every couple seconds. However upon replacing it and the other lines i removed to get it off my truck is now making a hellaciously bad knock sound. And for some reason it wont let me post a video

Yeah it's probably got rubber in it now.
or he took the line clamps off and all the lines are pinging and causing abnormal combustion

Maybe it's air in the fuel system. I didn't see how long it has been run since it's been put back together.
