7.3 bell housing to 435 trans

Looking for interchange bell housing fo my future 7.3 diesel to mate with my 4 speed 435 in my 67 ford f250.currently i have a 360 FE engine

I t19 diesel bell housing should fit just fine with that mix.

yep. all ford 4 speed truck trans use same 4 bolt pattern and spline. i have a 435 where my t19 used to be. but there is no 4 speed bell for beind a powerstroke.

I thought the 1st gen 7.3 stroke had the same bell housing as the IDI, finding a clutch could prove difficult though.

Why not? The 5 speed can interchange, or is it all in the clutch?

For what you need a regular diesel 4 speed bell housing will work like mentioned.

A SMF conversion setup with a 4 speed disc could work, the input shaft on the ZF is bigger than the 4 speed one. I would do a ZF swap in the truck though, no o/d with a diesel in a truck with poor sound deadening is very ******* the head.
