Never done a swap out like that, but I got one in a Link Belt 290 hoe with a little over 12,000 very hard hours and no problems at all. A very strong engine in my opinion.

One of the best dieselmotors made from what I have read.. Essentially Suzie took a 6BT, stripped it down, identified its weak links, and then created a better motor patterned off the ********.
