6 pt Nuts

I ordered the studs for my engine and 6 point nuts they have the same strenght rating as the 12 pt nuts. Is there any clearence isues with going with the larger nuts. If so I can change my order.

Not sure if you'll have any clearance issues on your 7.3l, but my 6.9l ARP studs came with 6-point nuts and I had no problem whatsoever with clearance.

Taken out of context, that sounds so wrong

The 6 point will be just fine. The 12 point cost as much as the studs.
