6.9 vs 7.3

Saturday a buddy and I went to haul a 67 Chrysler New Yorker back home that he had stored. He bought my old 87/6.9 and I was amazed how quiet it was compared to my 93/7.3. When we first started on our adventure I could not believe that was the same truck, it was so quiet that you could not hardly hear the 6.9 running. My 93 is so noisy and I am thinking it might be the timing so Mel would you be so kind as to bring your timing thing to the rally so at least we can check and set it to spec's............Jim
