6.9 electrical issue

Okay last night I was installing my new facet pump wired it all correct. Replaced my battery cable and got that done. After I installed my battery cable I noticed the glow plug light didn't kick on. Truck had been plugged in for a while so I thought maybe that was why. Some time had passed I decided to see if the pump would turn On and prime nothing happen but then I saw a huge cloud of smoke coming out of the connector for the engine harness. I spliced the wire and fixed it but I am still. It getting any power into the glow plug or the injection pump. ANy ideas?

How/where did you wire in the facet pump?

It's wired through a 4 pin relay. One going into the fuel shut off solenoid into the pump and a power wire with a 5 amp fuse into it's really simple job to do. I'm just wondering why I have lost all power to my engine harness. The thing that says don't jump starter from here clicks.
