My truck has always grinded shifting into 4th gear. But I noticed today if I double clutch it it doesn't grind . Just wondering if the syncro is bad or something else? Thanks!
FWIW you can drive lots of miles just double clutching. Doing so compensates for the worn parts. I wouldn't tear a transmission apart just to fix something like that.
Thanks guys. Ya it's shifts perfect if I double clutch so I'm not to worried about it. Just found a cclb f350 4x4 for a good price that needs a timing chain. It's a 351 zf5 4x4 d60 front. I'm thinkin of dropping my engine and trans Into it and having a badass truck.
