ok just finished somemore measurements . looks like i have 13+ inches of ground clearence, may have some interferce around swaybar area. fuel tank frame mounts are drilled for more than one tank size and that was my major worry. will be useing van sending unit due to it being biger than truck. same ohms reading. may have to extend fuel fill hose. and move fsv futher forward for eaze of access.

LOoking good so far,

So does the tank go a lot further forward from stock? If so about how much?

How about towards rear diff? How far from center of rear axle or say the shock mount on axle?

I'm concerned about the length not fitting under my truck as I'm a regular cab 4x so cross members come into play that you do not have. AS you are a CC that changes location compared to a RC

Thanks

Al

BTW great info!

wery good question AL. van tank has wider recess's for straps. i should be able to slide tank forword to clear swaybar, and just extend fuel fill hose . cause i'm dictated by swaybar location, got lot of room forward of fueltank.trying to keep fill hose in same area as it is now, but if i have to slide tank forword i will.i'm all so doing fuelneck mods at same time.

Very interested in this mod. Fuel filler necks aren't a prob for me as I have no bed now and fixing to build a flatbed.

I'll also be following this closely. Our trucks are similar, other than the transmission. If everything fit on your truck, it should on mine too.

You're taking plenty of pictures. That's good. Take lots more. Do a full writeup, all the good things and all the bad/hard things. That will help all the rest of us.
