2wd to 4wd?

has anyone here converted their 2wd f250 to a 4wd? how insanely difficult is it? how expensive is it? I dont know if ill ever do it. But i would like to see how its done if possible. i like to learn things like that

IMO, you should just save up and wait for the right 4x4 to come available, unless you already have put 10k in your current truck. You can get through a lot with a Detroit Locker in the rear end. That is my plan in the spring.

i picked jegs because their warehouse is close to me so shipping would only be a couple days. or might be able to go pick it up in the store a few miles away. I've never put one in but i have done nearly everything else to a vehicle besides rip out a differential. can't be that hard. probably get it done in a day with a garage.

way cheaper than even buying the 4wd parts.

All that being said, i wish i would have waited for the right 4wd, but when i bought this thing i needed something to pull my trailer pronto. now i use it for work everyday and it really is perfect as a service truck.
