1994 7.3 IDI hard hot start

I'm not an expert, but that would seem reasonable based on the information given and my similar issues with my known problems.

Certainly seems reasonable to me. Like I said, I already ran through the entirety of the pinpoint tests relating to my problem so I'm beyond the help of the factory service manuals as far as diagnostics is concerned. I did replace all the injector caps and return lines a couple of years ago, and tested for air intrusion a year ago, but I've had issues with bad parts already and its not beyond belief that an air leak has developed since then.

No doubt it is the IP. What you describe is what one experiences when thicker (cold) fuel is available initially, but warms as the engine does. The heat soak issue is well known, and it would start after 20 minutes without glow plugs almost every time, unless it is really freaking cold out.
