hello all,

have the chance to buy an immaculate xlt lariat 350 4x4 gasser that the motor is toast.

Was wondering if i have a complete parts truck, that is a 6.9 and a c6 auto, seeing that they both have the same transfer case and tranny would putting the diesel in the f350 mechanically wise be as easy as taking the parts truck dirvetrain and bolting it into the one ton?

It would be no harder than putting it in a Bronco. You'd probably have all the same issues.

Should be a pretty straight forward swap, My truck never had a diesel in it(until I put one in) My donor truck was an 84' and my recipiant truck is a 94', wasnt real hard at all........get a good wiring diagram and your good to go. just my .02
