That's easy. The next time you're going to haul in a load of scrap metal, throw it in. Isn't that salvaging one of those?

Not sure I would rely on all his technical descriptions but he's got an effective method, though I think there's a better choice for seal material. The seals look like they could be one of sizes of square "olives" used elsewhere in these fuel systems. Or recently someone on here found a source for square o-rings so that might be an even better choice.
