I just bought a gm 2.5 ton truck today. It has what im told is a 370 inline 6 . Does anyone know anything about these trucks and engines?

Love the old iron. I had a '57 Chev 1/2 ton with the smaller inline 6; doubt that there is much in common. Loved the "kickstart" on the floor in mine. Its the reason I bought my '57 IH; the IH has much thicker steel. I had to get rid of the Chevy when the door started falling off. At that time I had no way to repair it and no $$ to pay someone else to do it....

Ill see of I can get some pics. It's pretty much rotted away from rust and years of hard use. I was told it ran 5fine years ago after they started it after sitting for 10 years.
Im curious if the motors worth anything.
