I recently posted a link to a half micron sock filter in one of the other threads. I bought one.

IT is the slowest damn thing I have ever seen!!!!

I was just running a mix of 70% diesel and the rest was WMO/WHO....through a 1 micron filter, it would pass as fast as my pump would push it. Through the 1/2 micron, I fill the bag ( about 2 gal? )....and wait....and wait....30 minutes? HOLY CRAP BATMAN!

It better be clean! :backoff

how would the bag react to 150 degree fluids?
-if it could handle the heat then try getting the fuel hot.
D2 gets pretty thin at that temp

EDIT: i looked it up and it looks like those filters are good to about 275 degrees. i wonder if heating it will make using that filter, easier?
