Well the wrecker I work at has a sweet All aluminum stock intercooler from a 01 dodge, things freakin huge but I can get it a real good price so I may just have to adapt it and use it for my project...

I'll try to get some pics tomorrow some time cause it has a small bow from a head on...but its very slight and should be OK for my use ifn I can get it to fit that is...OH hell I'll make it fit witha BFH if need be.:rotflmao

Anyone else done this before?

Hypermax uses a bigger turbo for applications with an intercooler than non intercooled applications just FYI.

Heres the pics I mentioned...this thing is nice...slightly bowed but it could easily be made straight again.

I figure if the price is right....a big A$$#d intercooler is better n none at all....right?cookoo

I doubt you would see much of a pressure drop, but I would expect to see a lag in the boost time until the turbo has enough time to pressurize the entire system. I have one about that size in my Ranger with the twin turbo 357W. Mine came out of a M2 Freightliner with a 900 Mercedes it's made by Behr.

Yea, those intercoolers are SWEET! You'll like it. It'll have a lag time, as with any intercooled vehicle. But you probably wont hardly notice it in a diesel, since they spool slow anyway.

LAG.....*** who cares....I wont be pulling 27K gooseneck man I pull a POS tent trailer of a small 8x6 trailer for sleddin....

LAG.....***....just mash the go pedal

eventually I'll just hit the button with that NOS tank eventually screw lag when ya got NOS

Come on guys...this is a Bronco being built to 4x not pull some huge trailers n stuff....I wanna have fun....smoke some ricers n camaros and mustangs etc....Hey I can drag it at local strip in summer....Woot!!!

And ya I can get a wheel of a deal seeing as the boss knows it's not ICBC quality just a private sale only...Thus I score big time.
