    porting heads

    How big can ports be opened to? Have gaskets that are 1&13/16ths, the other is 2". The only close spot is by head bolt holes. Icanfixall, how big did you open yours?

    compression test bad??

    1992 has 340,000 and tired. Ran test and all cyclinders were close, first hit was around 175 then up to 300 plus or minus. Engine was run for a while befor removing most of items in way as either engine comes out and slight rebuid or replaced. Of 4 books on ford diesels, one said 440 is good...

    Best choice of Air Filter

    Have twin air ram around radiator to front-top of motor. Am building box to go from two 2x3 tubes to 4" turbo openning. About 8x16x6high on top of motor. Should I go for small filter and force the air through or large one that breathes better? All helps is appreciated.

    help with banks turbo

    turbo outlet does not align with intake (sidewinder adapter). I have the clamp loose that holds the exhaust side to the compressor side but I can not turn it. What am I missing? Thanks
