    front end ball joints

    i got an 02 psd crew dually 4x4. my front ball joints have gone out again and this time they took out the drag links with them. this is the 3rd time im haveing to change joints. anyone else have this issue?

    yeah, your going to need to remove the battery and the battery box if its still installed, i just did mine and theres several bolts you'll need to remove to get it out, also, if you need to ever change your turn signal bulbs on the front end, you do not remove them from inside the engine...

    if your running an 02' psd, the motorcraft FL-1995 is a really good filter, specificaly designed for the power stroke. i beleave it also is a little longer in length for more filter capacity. i just ran 13k miles on my filter before changeing it and it cleaned out all kinds of sediment.

    check your turbo o-rings, on my 02 stroker i had a sever leak on the back of the engine, turned out to be a turbo o-ring. cost me all of 15 cents to fix and havent had a problem sence.

    mysterious leak

    i had this very simaler issue with my 02 stroker, it wasleaking oil in very large amounts from the back of the turbo, there is an oil lube line that feeds the turbo, mine turned out to be an o-ring failed, cost me all but 15 cents for the o-ring, might want to check that.

    02 f350 psd cc 104k. going into 4x4 electricaly as soon as it locks it makes a loud bang and the truck learches????? its in 2wd right now but afraid to go into 4wd. it has done this 2 times now and once it got stuck in 4wd. any ideas to look at??? i have not yet opened the diff or the case.

    i just replaced my gps in my 02 psd, ran 8.50 each but vc gaskets were 90 each. found out got to be carefull installing new plugs, if you miss the gp hole, theres another hole just above the gp hole where the pushrods go through, they can drop in there and are a :kick: to get back out, lol.
