I have a black thumb but diesels are new to me...

UPDATE: I may have it fixed. I ordered parts from Oregon Fuel Injection. New #2 line, injector, and clamps. They came late but in the mail this morning. So I started my tear down and went in to town for supplies. Parts were waiting when I got home. Turns out it was not a split line but a...

I have a black thumb but diesels are new to me...

But see here I have the problem and so it must be a thing. And why is the vehicle being parted out or at the scrap yard? I can’t reliably answer that question. Hence why I would like to find a place to order it new.

Any closer look and I would be blinded by fuel. As for the vibration clamps, I haven't removed the intake to know for sure. Ill...

    Diesel greenhorn from Apple Country

Just picked up my first diesel. A 94 F350 Centurion Dually. I do most of my own vehicle work and a bit for family when I feel like being charitable. Picking things up as I go along. Things have a tendency to screw up when you are busy making other plans. This year just doesnt want us to forget it.

I have a black thumb but diesels are new to me...

I just purchased a 94 F350 Centurion Dually with a 7.3 idi. It made the 280 mile trip home from half the state away with no problem. Its had a fairly easy life since except to take the camp trailer for winterization. I had to replace the radiator for age related corrosion and figured id replace...
