6.9 pinging/tapping noise
Hey guys, so I have a 6.9. Just did the head gasket put 7.3 heads on with new injectors and timed my ip pump. Had the truck on a dyno and pulled just u get 400 ft lb and always has lots of power. it is also a non turbo. Wired thing is when I put my foot In it I get a pinging/taping noise. 85 6.9 pulling 130 hp and 380 ftLb N/A good or bad?
Hey guys i did my first IDI rebuild a while back and used 7.3 heads on a 6.9 idi with stock injectors and pump, pump is turned up a bit and timing set. i pulled 380 Ft-lb on my schools dyno from a dead stop to 65. Are those decent numbers or average? thanks guys- shocktrooper

ZF-5 on a 6.9 idi
Hey guys. Been looking around trying to get some info on a swap from my c6 to a zf5. The truck is a 85 f250 4x4 with Cruze control c6 automatic with 4:10 gears. 6.9 idi Garrett turbo
Hey guys I picked up a Garrett turbo off a 6.9 with the ATS exuast housing. Great looking turbo but I want to put new gaskets in it since its on my work bench already. I just can't seam to find a deal kit for it. Anybody have a seal kit number or where I could find one. Thanks.- shocktrooper

idi prechambers needed
Hi guys! New to the site but have been on here looking for answers. I am looking for prechambers for my IDI. Its an 85 f250 with the 6.9. People have told me the 7.3 are still available but I can seam to find any. Dose anybody know where I could find some? Thanks!- shocktrooper
