I picked a 92 7.3 seems to be very clean under the the valve cover, with 2wd zf5 form a power stroke and a 77 divorce np205
Its mostly being built for light DD and more offroad toy

an update on the truck found a 7.3 zf to use, just need a gasser zf 4x4 or a divorced tcase or even both to make a doubler

i would like the gasser gears in the zf, that the 7.3 is in my play truck. i would like a good creeper gear for the trails
ive read that you can pull the tail housing off the zf. but can you swap the tail housing with 4wd tail housing. is there more work that has to be done to it ? or is just straight forward swap out ?
i would like to have 4x4 but i can always get a divorce transfer case

Well the ranger wheel base is 114 and the f250 wheel base is 133. So there's kinda a gap but im guna put a tire holder and chain holder
