    ZF gear change

    Has anyone tried to swap gears around in a zf?I'd like the diesel first gear while using the rest of the gears from a gasser.I know it sounds goofy,but it would really tighten up the ratios,getting rid of as much of a jump from 1-2.

    Any body ever try and swap a cam without pullin the intake and valley pan?I've never tried but thought if you could remove the pushrods and hold up the lifters some how it would save me from having to jack up the cab to remove the turbo and the intake.:dunno:dunno
