You can buy blank arms, and drill your own hole where you want it. For you I would keep tiered in factory location and just run drag link to the upper arm.
Also it’s the little parts like the line mounts which are the reason I tell guys to find a complete donor and don’t get rid of it till the job is done. Little parts that get overlooked add up quickly
I did. But all the photos went blank. I recently found them hidden, one day when I get an hour or so to redo the tech article with photos again I will do it.
Yes a medium duty 365 will have its own ecm and is sort of “stand alone”. Only downside is now you will have a j1939 datalink instead of obd2. Also next to no aftermarket support for things like tuners and such
No idea on engine temp as I didn’t have an aftermarket gauge. It was getting up there on the factory gauge. Hovering around “L” in normal. Clutch fan locked up entire time.

If if you go look at the pmf kit, then look at this photo, you can see what I did. Essentially cut off the plate that was to go on the inner side of the frame and welded it to the bottom. My pmf had no holes drilled in it for mounting, so I ended up with 3 on each side and 4 up from the bottom...
