    Agreed. You can do a lower barrel swap if you can cut and weld, using a gasser engine core support as your part, but it is much easier if you can find one from a diesel.

    The cam ring and the primary pump would have to be reconfigured. You would definitely be in uncharted territory for sure. How are you going to mount it? that will be a major hassle too.

    All the connectors are weather pack style, and I've never had a problem pressure washing a PSD. Just do it when it is cold. My bet is the HPOP.

    If you have even one loose shaving floating around in there, it will wreck your bearings and races. The fact that you had to re-tighten it, means that is probably exactly what is happening.

    Yeah I'm not sure why the decision was made to hold them at the same time. The MOB rally is a new annual and should have been scheduled at another time so people would not be forced to choose, but could instead attend both.

    A slow crank speed can affect starting when hot. If your crank speed is not in spec, then the cold water helps congeal the fuel which can overcome the issue. It's not a recommended patch. Verify that you are turning at least 150 RPM when cranking. Otherwise, it's time for another IP.

    Is it water? Or coolant? Be sure you know. A bad valley pan grommet can let WATER in.

    I know you can't get them any more, but I'd take a factory Delco unit over all those others. Mine is 32 years old and still cranking after 120,000 miles.

    Those of you who have posted that you are going... get on the stick and call the campground. Make a reservation. They don't charge your card the full amount. Just a deposit. This gives us the best chance of being together, rather then spread around all over the campground.
