I think I have an exhaust valve sticking. once it warms up good it starts huffing out the air intake. Is there an oil additive that will help or am I pulling a head? Thanks

If it’s blowing out the intake, I’m betting it’s not a sticky intake valve, but you could pull the valve covers and see if you can see anything “out if the ordinary”. I’ve caught two gassers with broken intake valve springs in time before they dropped into the cylinder.

I have had it in the past that the CDR will get stuck and cause some weird thumping out the intake, maybe give it a quick clean and keep an eye on things? How to clean your CDR
I’m gonna drive it tomorrow when it’s warmer out. Hopefully it doesn’t do it. I’ll clean the cdr either way. Due for oil change too. I’m gonna check the compression also

The 6.9 that I drove years ago like to go through a fair amount of oil. Once in awhile I would forget to check it and it would start missing and blowing back through the intake. Stop and put in oil and it would clear back up with about a minute idle time. Lifters would bleed down and valves were not opening like they should. It was a well wore out engine guessing at least 300k could have been 400K.
