Injectors

So my truck has started having trouble starting and the injectors are stock on a 260,000 miles truck lol. It was only one owner before me and he didn’t seem like he’d change anything like that and it don’t appear so. Is Diesel logics OEM STOCK REPLACEMENT 6.9L & 7.3L IDI FUEL INJECTOR SET any good? Thank you

When you say stock do you mean original? At 260000 miles that would be way beyond normal expected replacement range. The injector pump and the injectors are usually replaced by 150000 miles. The glow plugs can go out at any point.

The forum members have found that there are only 4 IP and injector rebuilders who are reliable. They are all members of this forum. I'd suggest reading The Hall of Shame, found in the Tech Article section at the beginning of this section of the forum.

Of those 4 IP and injector rebuilders, we all have our favorites. I myself would go with Russ Repair.

personally I'm not a fan of desielogics injectors and install kits injectors where way to over priced 550$ but they do work and there return kit was JUNK 2 of there caps didn't even click even though they where bottomed out and there lines didn't even fit there own caps way too loose even with the clamp and the injectors came with o rings already attached and right out of the box 3 where nicked had to go to use my old kit to make something work before i went to orilleys to get a kit worth a damn and to add to that 4 months later yesterday i noticed more leaking o rings

im just happy i went with russ the second time pricing was very competitive he answered all my questions and his return kit beats napa o rilleys and deisellogic by far even came with extra line clamps o rings superlube and those hard line olives all for 450$ 100$ cheaper than desiel logic and insanely better product

maybe others have had better experience with them but mine was awful and i wouldn't even think about shopping there again
