This is my 86’ f250. Just finished a full rebuild on the 6.9, bored .020 over, arp head studs along with an electric fuel pump and I swapped the barely alive c6 for a zf5 also. This was the first engine that I have ever even taken the heads off of so it was a pretty big learning experience. Runs great. Haven’t driven it more than 30 minutes. The turbo is currently getting some love from Russ. It’s always been a fun truck, about time I threw some money at it.

Well currently, it looks like this. I just pulled the rear carpet out. I plan to replace it with some sheet vinyl tomorrow. Will post up some better pics then.
PS: it’s not as bad as it looks. Mold is not from leaks, it’s from an accidental water spill that soaked the carpet. It’s also now 100% dry.

Very nice rig! If I were single, I'd certainly consider full-time in something like that. Being that there are two of us, our 30 ft. tow behind off grid rig suits us better...

Just bought this 1993 7.3 with a factory turbo. Looking for a complete gasket kit and possibly a turbo rebuild kit. Turbo is currently off the truck and all parts are in the back floorboard. Truck is super clean can’t wait to see how she drives down the road.

Hello everyone. Heres my Big Blue Beast. 1985 F-250 6.9 idi non turbo.
Was sitting a bit before I bought it,I got it for what I consider a decent price.....put in work so far:
Oil cooler,fan clutch,radiator, water pump,glow plugs,tie rods,front wheel bearings,front brakes, power steering pump,water pump,all fluids changed and new tires.
Still needs a few things but shes a runner

Shes a long bed. About a decade ago on I had a 1976 F150 long bed,I really miss that truck.
