Since I'm going to be spending a lot more time driving my truck I really want a more comfortable seat, got bench right now. Anyone know a good affordable resource?.

Try some seats from a 2003+ Expedition. Lots of them out there. Will be some drilling & reinforcing but comfortable seats

I'm in the same boat. I've got an 89 f350 and the bench is ok, but buckets would be nice. I thought about swapping out for some buckets from a bronco. I found some on Ebay, but people are really proud of those seats. The cheapest set was around $500 And they worn pretty good. For that price i could almost get used motorhome captain seat. Passenger would get a milk crate.

Thanks for the suggestion on the expedition seats Riphip!

I've come across a lot of threads where people used Explorer seats since the junkyards tended to have plenty. Good condition OEM buckets are tough to find. Mine are ok but the foam is pretty beat though I seem to remember a thread where someone used carpet padding to reinforce the seat to help eliminate the sag, also new wires underneath could help. It's actually pretty easy to take the seat apart and gain access to the underside.

2x on the explorer seats. I found Eddie Bauer leather/electric for $100 at the JY and put them in my bronco. They bolted to the bronco frames and only had to cut one bracket off of each.

I know it’s much newer, but the seat should fit, might not be a bolt in, but the 40,20,40 bench in my 11 is one of the most comfortable seats I’ve sat in. I like them better than the 07 Infiniti seats, which are really nice. I can post pictures later if you like. I can even throw a tape measure across it to make sure it’s not to wide.

Please don't quote me on exact year, however I think mine are from a 2005 F-series pick-up.
