Single mass flywheel evaluation....
I wanted to put my two cents worth regarding my dual mass to single mass flywheel replacement. I put a LUK set in my '92 and was very impressed with the quality of the parts. I received prompt service from the vendor and they seemed to be helpful with pre-purchase questions. The job went fine...- TomC

Lower front shock bolt source
I have some worn lower front shock bolts on my '92 F250. I tried to obtain some from the dealer but what Ford said is correct is not the right bolts. Does anyone have a source for these items? The junkyards have not been tried as I thought most would be as worn as mine. Thanks TomC- TomC

Anerobic Gasket stuff... again :)
I will not get oxygen when the parts are bolted together. Never fear, the stuff will seal up just fine. TomC- TomC

Oil fill quantity
Just need to ask a question regarding oil fill levels. My truck will use oil down to the add mark on the stick then use no more between changes. Is is permissable to just add 8 quarts instead of 10 on the oil change? I prefill the filter with the change. Then I would put 2 gallons in and go...- TomC

running out of fuel
It really is much easier to remove the bed to get to the sending units. The upside is not getting all the dirt and rust in your face. I put a 2X6 in between the middle stake pockets and hoisted the bed off. You can also do it with 4 people. TomC- TomC

Towing package trailer wiring
I think I have the towing package in my truck. I have the brake controller plug under the dash and relay stuff under the hood. I cannot find any extra wires in the rear harness. Where should I look for a starting point to have trailer hookups that do not run thru the light switch and a wire for...- TomC

Things to be Thankful For!!
My '92 has a separate circuit for trailer lighting. I guess it is part of the towing pkg. There is a relay and fuse box behind the driver's side battery. The rub is finding a rear connector to avoid cutting into the harness at the back of the truck. I finally found one but it was not easy. TomC- TomC
