WMO/*** filter lifespan?
Ditto here. Let it settle. Don't take it off the bottom. Heat makes the filter last longer. I use a gravity fed system too. Sometimes you can take the filter and clean it a little if you use gravity. Go on Ebay and find some bag type filters. I use multiple filters and the system lasts longer.- seriousbum

I have put 70k miles on my 7.3 2002 using WMO and WVO. I would disagree with you slightly. You have to have a system designed to heat the oil. Are you kidding? The filter on the go ideas are crazy. WMO can be filtered and used for fuel but it has to be cleaned of water, the most dangerous contaminant. I have never tested my oil as was suggested above. However, I run my oil through a 1 micron bag filter as a final step. I also use a SpinnerII centrifuge. oil pump What I have found handiest is to buy a remanf small block chevy oil pump from a guy on Ebay. It costs about $50 bucks plus shipping. I then use a 3/8s drill to power the pump. Tank heater There is an easier way. Go to Ebay and put in wvo. You will find a tank heater that has a 110 element, a guard and thermostat. Then you just throw it in the oil and plug it in. micron rating?
It states that this is a 10 micron filter. That isn't good enough for a Pstroke. The OEM fuel filter is 5 micron and you will be quicklly clogging it and changing a $30 filter.- seriousbum
