I have all the parts and have done this on a buddies f250 b-4, My question is two part : Does this save fuel, And does it cause less wear and tear ?- pioneerscot

cookoo I shoulda went here first. Oh well luckily I am a welder so it was no problem. Thanks for the flush idea, That is what i was kinda thinking but i like the measuring idea, Is it super messy ? I welded the nut on the inside of the pan, welded the full circumference to minimize the possibility of leaks, I hope,then drove it 50 mi right after and drained the fluid again no leaks. Got 6 quarts out. I will do this several times to flush it out, Is this kinda what others do for flush, Or...- pioneerscot

Any one else installed a drain plug for the automatic transmission pan ? Just realized my truck did not have one sooo,,, I drilled off to the side of the elevated pan magnet and welded in a backing nut. The pan is galvanized so if any one is going to do this take precautions for breathing. I...- pioneerscot

7.3 no throttle response
Bought one today had to get the one for 98 due to it being different in shape and color the correct one for mine is black not gray like the first one I got from Napa- pioneerscot

Not at all the floor was clear, it only happened the one time, I was out of the vehicle during the testing portion of the adventure and even pushing the pedal all the way to the floor would not bring it off of idle. Newb here, Hello all. Question, no throttle response,all though there is now, it was a temporary issue. I did take the connector off the plug to the throttle position sensor ( I was stranded at a stop sign at busy intersection ) This was a mistake !
