early 99 compressor outlet is the same. Thats why guys use the e99 intake spyder to intercool OBS trucks. I have one waiting for my 95. The superduty exhaust housing will not just bolt on to your OBS turbo. To run a Superduty turbo you will need everything, up pipes, collector, pedestal and one exhaust manifold. plus some other things. I just bought a 1.0 housing brand new for $125.- dave186

MPG woes
The downpipe on my 95 was easy. used a porta power and the big indexable prybar i just bought was probably the perfect tool for the job. Took me longer to chop the old flat pipe out. Where are the up pipes leaking? manifold end or turbo end? They are kind of a beeeeotch to get to unless you...- dave186

I had the truck up on the hoist and have had enough of these trucks to have practiced trans R&R more than once LOL. its all the stuff like driveshafts, T case, crossmember, skid plate and shifters that take all the time.- dave186

Good news! trans is installed and working perfect! Im very happy with the transgo tugger kit, shifts are nice and firm when into the throttle but smooth if you go easy on it. TC lockup is much firmer as well. I think this setup should last me for quite a while, especially cause im going to ditch...- dave186

That is what I wanted to hear! Not the third bolt that goes into the intermediate/overdrive cylinder, but the third passage in the center support. Like I said its a slight leak, and I have no doubt that the ATF is going to seal a lot better than air.- dave186

Ok, I was reviewing my manuals trying to figure out the path of the direct clutch circuit and I realized that it goes from the valve body into the center support, but not through the two bolts that secure the center support, its a third passage to the side of those bolts, but i dont see anything...- dave186

Yeah, the reverse planet isnt concerning me too much. I do have 4 plates in the OD clutch. I put in red eagle coast clutch frictions and kolene steels, I would have liked to upgrade that pack since this truck has an exhaust brake but I dont have the time or money right now. I am keeping the aluminum reverse setup as well, looks like about $350 for a steel setup so im going to pass on that for now. Honestly I didnt even count the overdrive clutches. This truck has such tall gears it rarely sees OD. LOL It does already have the steel OD planetary.- dave186

So after pulling the trans apart today, its not as bad as I thought. The previous owner told me it only had 10,000 miles and that appears to be true. The only problem is the forward planet is still an aluminum 4 gear unit and it just couldnt handle it. I called my local trans warehouse and they...- dave186

I have looked at racerx website, but its not that great. I got the trans out today but didnt get a chance to start tearing into it. I pressure washed it and the casting number on the case says F7, but who knows what is inside. the gray paint ford puts on there remans is junk!- dave186
