Running problem please help
i'm at my wits end with my 86 6.9.It has been nearly trouble free for a long time till now. It starts cold and runs ok for a minute or so then nearly dies & pours out a huge fog of white smoke.Won't clear up till shut off for an hour or so.:dunno Changed fuel filter,poured in a bottle of...- ACBill

Good Idea! I've been thinking of trying to stuff some more gauges somewhere. Would also work for assorted extra switches inexpensive but sturdy.;Sweet- ACBill

On starters , buffaloes and flywheels?
Now have 3 days on the ground down starter gear-maybe 20 or so starts.looks like the number of times that it lands on the bad spot and "clicks" is in the 20% or so range.That at least gets me mobile & able to pull trailers.Seems better when warm. I won't be pulling off the tranny to access...- ACBill

Starter has me buffaloed..Help

New Injectors & IP
Looks like it's time to change the injectors at least. The truck is an 86 with 245000 klicks.Is it best to change both pump & injectors together or can I just change out the injectors first then leave the pump if performance is ok?
