i wanted to provide a visual representation. When I first started I was using Donaldson 5 micron absolute spin on filters and thinking I was ok. I then ran a filtered batch through a centrifuge and immediately bought one. Tonight I added a second fuge to my processing drum but I wanted to show how much just one pulls out of a 55 gallon batch. If you look at the pictures imagine if your filtration element was actually working how fast it would be plugged? Keep in mind what I wiped on the bucket is just my finger scrape. I still use four paper towels and degreaser to clean the bowl. The amount of sludge in the oil shows that any paper element filter if working efficiently would be plugged at least on the first 50 gallons processed. If considering wmo please invest the money to do it right and buy a fuge. All in I was around 250$ buying used off eBay for pump and centrifuge so it can be economical
