The kenworth in my signature has the AG100 (8 bag) suspension and I'm trying to figure out if its wise to mount an unbaffeled tank (3000 gallon septic pumper) on this suspension or if I should change it to something else?
Funny thing, Kenworth doesn't recommend ag400 for tanker applications, but does recommend the ag380?No... Just no....... Not on that suspension....
IF you insist on keeping it, upgrade to the beefier aluminum Y section in the centers on the torque bars, change all the bushings in it to polyurethane, get the large airline kit.......

And never put any kind of shifting load on that wobbly SOB....
I drove one ONCE with a hydrovac unit...... It had a tendency to make you seasick........ I'd rather be stuck in a Western Star......
The AG200 isn't any better IMHO, but the AG400 is nice...... Just not worth the money on an old truck.......
The truck that the tank is coming off of has leaf over walking beam but its pretty wasted, I might look into rebuilding ittake a look at construction site water trucks. iirc, they use a biscuit type suspension.
a whole lot less movement there.
