How to remove and replace steering column?

one semi round one

One large rectangular one the rod goes down too anout 3/4" × 2 1/2"

Thats all there is....

I would like to see some pictures of the bull nose diesel columns.

the 1 connector claim is false.
there are 2.
all columns from the bull to the brick are damn near the same, minus wheels and tilt, and i believe covers.
the electrical connectors are the same.

to error is human.

There's the connecter you can clearly see if my pic like Riot said turn signal etc then there's the connecter for the starter switch. I'm saying there's only 1 connecter that's tied into the Column. The other one just goes into the starter switch.

correction, as Al, and myself both stated.
there is a connector bolted to the column,(ignition)
and another for the turn signal switch, which is screwed into the top of the column...

common core math does not work here.
= 2 connectors for your column.

anyway you want to try to word it, you still have to disconnect 2 connectors for a column replacement.

a half round for turnsignal switches and then the one on the box.

they are the same as a brick nose.

hardest part is finding the 16" long extension and a 10 mm socket.

i may be nutless but it only takes me an hour to pull a turbo, and 15 minutes to pull a column

Two clips one on each end of starter switch and wire harness plug pops out of switch.

No need to remove switch from column...could make things worse as uou now have to align it up correctly meaning get it to function in correct spot for key switch...

No need for derogatory name calling.

Ya that column on a slow day I can pull 2 install 1 in bout 20 minutes total
