Yes Ken that was absolutely my intention. That is a awesome feature, one I wish all forums had. Not so much in the IDI forums but on a camping forum and motorcycle forum I frequent where there is a lot of folks come in and dash out and they never "resolve" their thread. Kinda one of my goofy pet peeves, lol. That would be an awesome feature for sure.

In another forum I frequent the original poster, and ONLY the original poster, may mark his question/posting as "RESOLVED" when he is satisfied that his problem is fixed. Doing so, marking his posting as "Resolved" does not close the thread or lock it, but merely indicates that the original poster has received the answer to his question, the solution to his problem.

Sometimes that solution is a total and complete fix, and sometimes it is "you can't get there from here".

I think we could benefit from this capability, being able to mark our own posting as "Resolved". It would let people know that an answer has been found, and it might encourage posters to offer that closing post and to say "Thank You".
I'll look into it. it sounds like a good idea.
btw...how's the brake job coming along? :D

I'll try to get a screen shot for you.

Brake job is done, but I have some questions.;Sweet I'm scheduled to be by the shop this afternoon. I came by Saturday at 6pm. You weren't there. I thought you were always there.

AHH!! lol...maybe it's because I'm not a member but I don't see it in the link you provided but I do see it now in the screenshot you sent. That is pretty cool! Very helpful!

I might suggest that the RESOLVED added to the original post text might be red so we can easily see it...

On the forum I indicated I believe the resolved threads get not only the "RESOLVED" added to the title, but also a largish green blob with a check mark.

Come on, Mods, I know you can make this happen.!!!;Sweet:angel:
