Did you charge them separately? You don't want to charge them while they're still connected. Batteries have a funny habit of going dead at the least opportune time. I had one go dead (that was totally fine before) when I rebuilt a carb on my dad's '71.

No they were still hooked up when I was charging them. Ill keep that in mind though for future reference. I think one of my batteries was bad anyway because it was all wet like it was leaking acid or something. I went to napa this morning and bought two of their legend batteries. Cranked the truck over a couple times and she fired right up. This fuel filter job got pretty pricey. At least I have new batteries for the winter though. Tomorrow I would like to do a videoof my 5" exhaust.
