do these look like theyd fit?...the seller doesnt know what they came off, says from a 'newer sd'

Nope. If they are from an SD they have a different lug pattern. You need rims from a 97 and down truck. Or an early dodge.

315's will fit with the 4" of lift. You should lower the bump stops 2-3" and have about the stock travel so they don't hit upon full compression of the suspension.

Yep, 70s up till I think 98 or 99 dodge have the same lug pattern as well. My eagle alloys came off of a 96 dodge.

also, if you go with a new aftermarket 16x8" rim, you must have at least a -4.50 offset (dealing with it now on my truck and waiting for the replacement wheels) or the caliper will just barely clip the balancing weights on the inside of the rim giving you vibration (which I couldn't figure out until I noticed a tiny little groove in the wheel weights)

So according to the chart 94-09 dodge 3/4 and 1 ton wheels will fit....and the 16s will need the offset you mentioned? Is offset when a spacer is used?

With a straight edge, measure from the backside of your rim. The distance from the Rim's lip to the mounting surface is the backspacing. You want no more than 4.5". Aside from having the wrong bolt pattern, newer rims have more backspacing as the axles are wider.

FYI also, for those wondering, Ford E-series van never did go metric on the rims.


They still use our old bolt patern, so any rim on you see on a Van, even a brand new 2012, will fit on our trucks.

So according to the site jwalterus posted wheels from a 98 gmc 3/4ton will work, correct?
