aftermarket parts for the idi body

a guy in town has a 1 gen powerstroke really nice truck longbed cc 4x4 but instead of the usual ford factory mirrors he has the superduty mirrors. has anyone else seen this or done it? what has to be done. he has them installed where the wing window would be leaving no more wing window. also does anyone have a webiste for aftermarket accesories for my truck... its an 89 f250 lariat.

There was a post about this a while back, truck was on ebay - IIRC they filled the entire wing window to install the large mirrors, which is not a good idea IMHO as it greatly reduces the visibility out the side...

As far as aftermarket accessories if you're looking for body parts, about anything for an F150-F350 gasser and many Bronco parts will fit, so look for those instead and you'll find tons of stuff!

There. EVERYONE better be able to see these. The job was done on a very professonal manner but they still look like $hit!! And they block the WHOLE wing window. Just take some cardboard and block the window for a week. You will see how bad of a blind spot that makes

Yeps, like I was saying, huge blind spots on the sides. And it looks pretty bad too...

thatd make one killer switch panel though or even a gauge pod could be put there
but its not worth looking like that
