It usually looks more like one of these though.

If the gulf of Mexico was in the background, the sand there is as white as snow. That picture really looks like Navarre beach.
That was taken out by our city pond (lake) which isn't too impressive. This lake is a lot nicer.

Sounds like you need a visit up North once ice fishing season starts.
And my new ice shack is almost done.
Consider that an invite.

TOO Cold. Cold enough here in Nevada right now.

Saw enough humidity when in the Navy over there in Viet Nam, Philippines, Japan etc....
That WWII Destroyer I served on wasn`t built for creature comforts, no AC down below. Wake up and your mattress is stuck to your back.

But we had AC up in the Radio Shack, but it was for the equipment to keep it cool.

Get hot here in Nv. end of July - early Sept. But a dry heat. Also a dry cold.

The problem with the "invincibles" is that they don't consider that 4x4 doesn't help with braking or cornering(much). And they don't practice and know how to handle a drifting/sliding vehicle.
4x4 is mostly for getting up slippery hills. I prefer to drive without it until I'm actually faced with the possibility of getting stuck. Drifting a vehicle in snow is fun! I've even drifted and spun (empty) buses. ;-)

My 6.9 with 2wd a 4 speed and studded tires is really killing it in the snow. I wouldn’t mind having a working front diff for when it gets deep though…….

Then you'd be constantly fighting rust. Cancerous rust, not just surface rust.

And then you come to find all those sweet IDIs you find in people's yards need a new frame and floors and, and, and..... They turn out to be not as great of a deal as you thought!

Just keep welding new steel and throw good material after bad eventually you get somewhere or it just gets heavy (idk if you can do emojis on this thing but that was a laughing face)

I wish this country (USA) would not use salt or mag chloride and just give discounts towards STUDDED snow tires, the difference the make is unbelievable!!!

Also, they could just truck that beautiful white sand from the FL beaches and sprinkle it on the snow covered roads!!!!

Jesus Freak, buy an IDI dump truck!!
