Tapatalk not working? Kept getting a "Can't connect" errors. So I removed the forum and tried to re-add it, and get a "Network Error, please try again later. (get config)" messgae.

None of the other forums in my Tapatalk app are having this issue.

Update has broken Tapatalk on the site. Haven't really used the forum at all since. I pinged an admin and they said they would let shaggy know. I'm going to give it about a month to atleast hear a response and then either just move my build updates to YouTube or another popular off road site that works with Tapatalk. Doesn't make sense to me to break Tapatalk and no announcement or post about it during an upgrade when we are in the mobile era.

@Shaggy

I have messaged Shaggy again on this. I don't use tapatalk, so I don't know what it is, or is not doing.

The word b-l-o-w is being censored. So now you can't say **** a head gasket or **** an engine.

Sorry guys, but Tapatalk will no long be available on here. I am just tired of messing with them over the years. The real reason it was ever on here was to make it easier for mobile users to view the forum as vBulletin(the old forum software) wasn't built for mobile screens. Ever since OB was updated to XF, Tapatalk wasn't really needed in that sense anymore, as XF was all mobile friendly/responsive. I'm really sorry to inconvenience you guys that used Tapatalk, but OB won't be running it anymore.

With the censored words, I had uploaded a 800+ word list to the censorship part of XF and of course there were some words that shouldn't have been on that list. I believe I removed all the words that didn't need to be on the list, but if any of you encounter others, please let me know.

That's unfortunate, I'm sure you know there is a difference between mobile friendly and mobile centric capability.

The new update has an option to download it as an app. The app really is mobile-centric and works extremely well. Is it the same as tapa? No. Thank goodness.
This is not the only forum of mine that has migrated from Tapa. In Fact this was the last one of mine to do so. I suggest downloading the app and giving it a shot. My biggest issue is I now have 4 different apps instead.of Tapatalk. But they can all be grouped into one 'group' on my homepage, so i can still see them all at the same time.

How do you download it as an app? Sounds interesting.

Hit the hamburger menu at the top left corner. If you do not have the app I stalled, you should see "install the app" at the very bottom of your menu. It may actually take a second to appear.

Also: you can't see the install button the the pic here. But if you click on it you'll see it.

Interesting. I certainly don't have that option on my Android phone.....
